If the Hirer is in any doubt as to the meaning of the following, a representative from Jumping Jacks should be consulted immediately.

It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to the inflatable. Please ensure that the following safety instructions are followed:

  1. The hirer shall not use the equipment for any purpose other than that described in the safety instructions, and shall not sub-hire or use the equipment or allow the equipment to be used for any unlawful purpose or in any unlawful way.

  2. This unit has an age limit of    years. Please ensure no-one over this age uses the equipment. Failure to observe this limit at any time during the hire period will render the hirer liable for associated repair costs.

  3. To avoid choking & mess no food or drinks are to be consumed on the inflatable. (Please note if the inflatable is collected in a dirty condition then the person hiring it will incur a cleaning charge of £25.00).

  4. All shoes, mobile phones, badges, jewelry, (i.e. large earrings, necklaces etc.), spectacles, sharp objects, key-rings, metal studded clothing or any other similar items which could cause damage to others or the equipment MUST be removed before using the inflatable.

  5. No face-paints, party-poppers, coloured streamers or "silly string" must be used near or on the inflatable, as they can make a terrible mess and permanently stain the unit and the hirer will be liable to compensate Jumping Jacks in the event of damage.

  6. Toys or sharp objects are not to be taken onto the inflatable.

  7. No pets are allowed on or near the inflatable.

  8. No smoking, naked flames or barbeques are to take place near the inflatable.

  9. Climbing, hanging, or sitting on the walls is DANGEROUS and must not be allowed.

  10. A responsible adult must supervise the INFLATABLE at all times.

  11. Children must not attempt somersaults as this is extremely DANGEROUS.

  12. Ensure that the inflatable is not overcrowded, and limit the numbers depending on age and size of children using it. If the children are colliding into each other then it is too crowded.

  13. Try to avoid large children and small children from using the inflatable at the same time. Some children require strict supervision.

  14. If the inflatable is not being used for any part of the day, please switch the blower off at the mains, this will reduce your electric bill!

  15. Do not allow anyone to bounce on the step/front apron. The step is there to help users get on and off.

  16. Ensure that no-one with a history of back or neck problems are allowed on the inflatable or anyone who is feeling unwell.

  17. Do not allow users on the unit during inflation or deflation as this is DANGEROUS.

  18. In the event of heavy rain, it is strongly recommended that the inflatable be switched off. Any wetness, including bubbling can be dried with a towel. A small picnic table placed over the blower, will help prevent rain-water being sucked into the blower, and then into the inflatable.

  19. The blower at the back has a safety reset button. In the event that it overheats, or loses power, switch the blower off at the mains, and then switch it back on again 1 or 2 minutes later, and it should restart. If it does not, or there is a power cut, inform us IMMEDIATELY.

  20. Ensure that the vent on the side of the blower is kept clear at all times.

  21. The hirer shall be deemed to have inspected the equipment and accessories and to have agreed that it is supplied in good condition unless he/she brings to the attention of Jumping Jacks or their agent, when it is set up and checked by the hirer when coming in to possession of the equipment any faults noted by the Hirer.

  22. The hire period unless otherwise agreed is from delivery until     or after at the discretion of Jumping Jacks or their agent, any obstruction by the hirer or their guests causing unnecessary delay will be charged at £35 per hour or part of.

  23. Placement of equipment is within 30 metres of the delivery vehicle; any distance or setting up requested beyond the delivery point is charged at £35.00 per hour or any part thereof. If the equipment is hired on a 'Hire Only' basis, then the equipment may be off-loaded at the designated delivery address with safety and/or operation instructions given.

  24. When the delivery of equipment or services requires access to the service user's venue (be it their own property, company premises or hired venue) our company accepts that the entry and exit is on level ground, and there is sufficient height for the equipment or service, unless informed otherwise. When the delivery of equipment or services requires entrance via a ramp, lift or double doors, our company requires that whatever is necessary to ensure successful delivery will be provided by the service user. If there are steps to be encountered, or there are height restrictions at the delivery/venue address, Jumping Jacks requires full knowledge of these restrictions upon booking. We will endeavour to help establish the suitability of use of our inflatable in your chosen venue however failure to inform us of any of the above, may result in non-usage of the equipment with the cost of the service fully chargeable.

  25. If the service or hired equipment requires installation, then all electrical and water facilities must be provided within 25 metres of the set-up point, by the service user. If these facilities are not available or cannot be provided, then full written instructions of facilities available to Jumping Jacks, must be advised upon booking. Failure to inform Jumping Jacks of the necessary requirements may result in an inability to install the equipment. The cost of the service and equipment will be fully chargeable at the agreed hire charge.

  26. Jumping Jacks can accept no liability for injuries sustained or any other loss, howsoever caused, in the absence of the negligence of Jumping Jacks or its employees. As the equipment will be in the hirer’s possession and control whilst in use, any liability for injuries or other losses caused other than in the circumstances described above rests with the hirer. Accordingly, it is strongly recommended that the hirer has adequate public liability insurance covering his or her liability arising from the use of the inflatable.

  27. Public Liability Insurance is excluded in its entirety following any claim or injury to any third party or employee whether directly or indirectly related to the use of drugs and/or alcohol. Jumping Jacks excludes any liability for injury loss or damage caused to any person using the equipment contrary to the terms and conditions of this contract.
